Women and festivals have always entwined together and are inseparable. As festivals are mostly religious, women automatically merge with the religious ceremonies during festivals. They take prominent role in them and there is seldom any festival celebrated without women having taken main part in it.

Recognising the endeavours and dedication of the Women in Maritime, this Diwali GTG was dedicated to all women of the world who took the centre stage to light the traditional lamp on 30th October at The Acres Club, Mumbai. The event was sponsored by the Aderco, Marex Media, Sagar Sandesh and friends.

The invitees were mesmerized by the soulful signing and dancing. A surprise kathak performance by one of the guest was enjoyed and appreciated by everyone.
