October 29 witnessed a diverse gathering of over 80 shipping professionals for a fun-filled 1st Shipping Professional Network in Mumbai (SPNM) physical networking event at Mumbai.

In association with Noble Shipping Pvt Ltd and Trikom Shipping Pvt Ltd, SPNM kicked off this networking meet with a reflective look back at 2020. SPNM noted how the year’s unexpected challenges pushed us to grow our resilience and creativity and we became more connected than ever before. Despite the tragedy and anxiety, there were moments of pure joy.

Established in 2011, SPNM is Mumbai’s meeting ground for young shipping professionals. Through regularly organised events, it brings together people from across the industry to network, socialise and learn. SPNM usually brings in expert speakers- including industry-respected leaders- to speak on a wide range of maritime-related issues. It is modelled along the lines of its sister concern in London, SPNL.
