Every time I visit this institute, it reminds me of my own institute. It’s maintained really very well. To the cadets, many things have been said by Capt. Varshney and others. I would like to add one thing to them please do not stop over here, continue your hard work because onboard ship it’s a different lifestyle. Get used to this lifestyle now. It will be a different world. What team building you have learned over here, continue that onboard ship. That will be very useful for you. Do not work in isolation onboard because the onboard ship you have to work as a team, you cannot work alone.” Further, he assured us that MMD will always be there for IMI cadets and help them in any manner possible.
In her address, Poonam Nagpal said, “Do not forget MSC and other companies who have sponsored you and will be placing you soon on the ships. Going forward, you will be now sailing on ship initially as a cadet and then as an officer. Your training will stand with you throughout. I am sure that your teachers have told you to be safe at all times and follow procedures. I totally advocate this and I suggest you do the right things always. Most importantly be mentally and physically strong.”
Soon after, the promoter director of IMI Capt SK Bahl presented mementos to our revered Chief Guest Capt Rajendra Poswal, Poonam Nagpal and Tushar Sharma. Vice Principal Rajesh Trivedi then gave a vote of thanks.
