MoPSW Introduces ‘Sagar Manthan’ the Real-time Performance Monitoring Dashboard

Developed in-house, the Dashboard will enable organizations to monitor & track the progress of projects & Key Performance Indicators in real-time

Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways and Ayush, in the presence of Shri Shripad Y. Naik, MoS, MoPSW; Shri Shantanu Thakur, MoS, MoPSW; and other officials from the ministry launched virtually ‘Sagar Manthan’, the Real-time Performance Monitoring Dashboard of MoPSW, a digital platform that incorporates all the integrated data related to the ministry and its subsidiaries.

Developed completely in-house under the guidance of Shri Sudhanshu Pant, IAS, Secretary, MoPSW, this dashboard has features like Data visualization, Real-time monitoring, Improved communication, Data-driven decision making, and Increased accountability, that will transform the workings of various departments by improving well-coordinated real time information.

In future this dashboard will further be integrated with Input from CCTV cameras, Live streaming from Drones, AI based Algorithm to map actual progress, and Digital Twin feature on board and Mobile App for easy access and usability by all stakeholders, to boost efficiency.

Speaking on the occasion, Shri Sonowal said, “The launch of the Sagar Manthan dashboard is a positive development towards the Digital India vision of our Prime Minister, and will have a significant impact on the overall performance of organizations.”
