Well-Being Program logo launched

On 27^th April, the Transport & Dock Workers’ Union, Mumbai in association with International Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF), launched a logo on well-being programme for Port & Warehousing workers under the guidance of Bro Kishor Kotwal, President & Bro Kersi Parekh, General Secretary of TDWU.

Mr Rajiv Jalota, (IAS) Chairperson, Mumbai Port Authority, & Director General of Shipping, & Chairperson, Indian Port Association inaugurated the logo on Well-Being.

Dr Asif, ITF London office and Global Coordinator for HIV/AIDS & well-being, Sister Geetha, ITF Delhi office, Bro Rajendra Giri, u2u, Project Cordinator were present.

Bro Parekh welcomed the participants, and Bro Venktesh Swami distributed the certificate to the first responder who were trained to respond on this issue.

Sister Kalpana Desai, Treasurer & Board Member of Mumbai Port Authority proposed the vote of thanks.
