A grand ‘Diwali family-evening’ was held in Mumbai on Sunday the 29th of October 2023.
Amidst the fun & frolic, consisting of a brilliant short dance-skit on the greatest Indian epic, Ramayana, and cultural dances of many states, was the underlying maritime spirit of togetherness and shared joy.
The brilliant young comperes were: Second Officer Samarth Singhal, (s/o Capt. Sudhir Singhal), Miss Seerat Hooghan (d/o Capt. Pradeep Hooghan), Amisha Singh (d/o Capt. B. P. Singh), and Cadet Pratinav Deb (s/o Capt. Partha Deb).
The Organising Committee, having worked hard for almost 3 long months to stitch this event together, consisted exclusively of ladies; namely: Neha Sharma, Neha Kumar, Preeti Singh, Rupali Lall, Sumiti Joshi, Uma Viswanathan, Yukti Mittal, and Nupur Rajvanshi.
The young Champs manning the Registration desk very zealously, were: Veer Yadav, Peeyush Joshi, Sanvi Joshi and Aarav Sharma.
All in all, an event to remember fondly as well as repeat in future.
