According to the company the first container ship that will be deployed on the service will be the 6,350 TEU, 2008-built MV APL Minnesota. The new weekly service will connect major Asian ports linking Central / South China to Colombo, Nhava Sheva & Mundra within the Indian Subcontinent and will commence on 3 December from the port of Shanghai.
The port rotation of the new service will be Shanghai (China) – Ningbo (China) – Shekou (China) – Singapore – Colombo (Sri Lanka) – Mundra (India) – Nhava Sheva (India) – Singapore – Shanghai.
The service will offer Intra Subcontinent connection from Colombo to India, thus connecting with CMA CGM’s extensive network from Southeast Asia via Singapore to India Subcontinent ports.
