95 HL – Eliminate Violence against Women

25th November is observed as the United Nations Day to eliminate violence against women that supports an ILO Convention to stop Gender based violence – RATIFY ILO C 190 NOW.

 

Transport & Dock Workers’ Union, Mumbai under the guidance of Com Kishor Kotwal and leadership of Com Kersi Parekh; the office bearers and activists of union observed the white Ribbon Day at various working places in the Mumbai port premises on 25th November – UN Day to eliminate Violence and to support an ILO C190 to end the violence!

 

Mrs Kalpana Desai, Treasurer of Union informed about ILO Convention 190 and the need to ratify in India to end violence.

 

Mr Anand Kanojia, Dy Chief Accounts Officer & Mrs Manju Mire, AO Gr and Mrs Desai were the Guest of Honour.

 

Mr Sudesh Pawar, Office, Superintendent proposed the vote of thanks.
