JNPA SEZ Investor-Conclave Held in Pune

The JNPA SEZ, ‘Invest in the Next Growth Story’ showcased immense investment opportunites

With the express aim to have investors/ industrialists from across the country invest in its first port-based Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at the Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JN Port) in Navi Mumbai, an investor conclave was successfully held in Pune in association with CII on 19^th July. The SEZ project at JNPA is part of the port-led industrialization plan developed on 277.38 hectares of land.

Highlighting the world-class facilities at the JN Port SEZ, JNPA chairman Sanjay Sethi said, “JNPA is set to strengthen its growth with this SEZ that offers varied facilities from single-window clearances to multi-modal connectivity and state-of-the-art infrastructure, making it an ideal choice to establish businesses and boost export-oriented industries in India.”

“With the state of the art facilities, world class facilities and infrastructure along with its robust logistics ecosystem, the JNPA SEZ has revolutionized the Shipping Industry”, he added.

The one–day investor conclave was successful in showcasing immense investment opportunities available within JNPA SEZ and foster collaborations for the growth and development of the region. The Conclave witnessed a series of interactive Sessions, Panel discussions, and Presentations focusing on the advantages and potentials on investments.

Shri Nitin Borwankar Chief General Manager and CEO, JNPA SEZ presented a roadmap for the overall development of the JNPA SEZ as also India’s exim capacities. Shri Unmesh Sharadwagh, IRS Deputy Chairman, JNPA moderated a panel discussion on Potential and Opportunities with JNPA SEZ: Achieving Global standards with Sustainability.

Several distinguished guests from various sectors attended the conclave, including representatives from national and international companies, industrial associations, government officials, and experts from the industry made their presence felt.
